# Community and Governance

As the Starpower network matures, we will gradually transition to a decentralized organization governed by the community. This includes the network's governance mechanisms, daily operations, and technological development.

The Starpower network is a global energy network dedicated to uniting individuals worldwide to accelerate the advent of a zero-carbon society. This initiative is independent of politics, culture, or economy, aiming to establish a globally collaborative community to address the existential challenges faced by human society. As a community-driven organization, we believe that every participant is a builder of the network as well as a shareholder, employee, and user, since we are all stakeholders in a zero-carbon society. In the Starpower network, we contribute our part to illuminate the long night of climate change.

Starpower aims to establish a global network layer of distributed energy devices, empowering applications such as virtual power plants in the Energy Internet, and accelerating the arrival of a zero-carbon society. We will facilitate community participation in this endeavor and provide financial support.

Current community participation includes applying to become a 'Zero Carbon Ambassador.' We welcome passionate individuals about the Earth's zero-carbon goals to join the community, become local 'Zero Carbon Ambassadors,' and help more people understand, participate in, and promote renewable energy, energy efficiency improvement, and net-zero carbon goals. Financial support will also be provided for community activities and subsidies for Zero Carbon Ambassadors.
