Core Functionalities

Starpower is designed to address the core functionalities needed to create a decentralized, efficient, and stable energy network. We help users to save on bills, help grid to be smarter. These core functionalities include energy aggregation, efficient energy management, demand response, and incentives for participation.

Energy Aggregation

Starpower aggregates energy from various sources, including residential, commercial, and industrial energy devices. By integrating these diverse energy sources into a unified network, Starpower ensures a more stable and reliable energy supply. Starpower has proprietary energy devices and also support 3rd party energy device integration to facilitate energy aggregation.Furthermore, aggregation is facilitated through the deployment of physical nodes in regions with high VPP returns, which are divided into Power Hashrate units. These units represent a portion of the energy storage capacity and can be subscribed to by global users.

Efficient Energy Management

One of the key functionalities of Starpower is the efficient management of energy resources. Large number of energy devices and their devices data are aggregated and optimized by Starpower. We provide algorithms to coordinate devices and increase energy usage efficiency.This is achieved through the use of advanced distributed energy resource (DER) hardware provided by Starpower. Active VPP nodes manage and store energy in real-time, optimizing the use of stored energy to reduce reliance on the grid during peak times and providing backup power during outages. This ensures that energy is used more efficiently and sustainably.

Demand Response

Starpower plays a crucial role in demand response by connecting energy devices to local VPP service providers. These providers participate in grid demand response programs, balancing supply and demand to enhance grid stability. By coordinating the charging and discharging schedules of devices such as smart plugs, home batteries, and electric vehicle chargers, Starpower ensures that energy is available when needed and that the grid remains stable even during periods of high demand.
